As one of the gardens who participate in the Scottish Snowdrop Festival, we invite you to visit our 'Celebration of Snowdrops' here at Scone Palace. Take a leisurely stroll through the paths lined with these dainty little flowers - one of the first signs that spring is on its way!
We are delighted to be participating in the Scottish Snowdrop Festival each Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy walking through the drifts of enchanting snowdrops which can be found throughout 100 acres of our grounds, lining Lime Avenue and hiding in the shadows of towering conifers. The majority of our snowdrops are of the Galanthus nivalis variety, although not native to Britain, they have naturalized extremely well and enjoy the conditions here at Scone Palace.
At the end of your walk, why not treat yourself to a warming cup of hot chocolate and one of our famed 'Scones @ Scone' in our Old Servants' Hall Coffee Shop or if you have your four-legged friends with you, why not visit our Old Kitchen Coffee Shop which is 'Dog-Friendly' at this time of year.
Our Food Shop will also be open selling a delightful selection of culinary gifts along with our expanding range of Scone Palace own label produce.
Open each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm.
Visitors are welcome to bring their dogs to walk around the grounds provided they are kept on a lead at all times and remember to tidy up behind them.
