Join the world famous Plant Hunter, David Douglas when he will take you on an exciting and informative nature trail around our gardens and Pinetum.

David Douglas began his career as an apprentice gardener here at Scone Palace before he set off on his travels to North America where he discovered a host of new plants including what is know today as the Douglas Fir. Once of the first trees to be planted in this country is situated in our wonderful grounds. Why not come and see it for your self?

Tours will be held at 12.00noon, 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm and are suitable for plant lovers from the age of 8 years upwards!
