Scone Palace will celebrate Easter weekend with a little help from a pirate or two, who are set to land at the crowning place of Scottish Kings on Easter Sunday, 16th April.
The action-packed family Pirate Fun Day takes place from 12.00 noon to 4.00pm and includes a bouncy castle manned by Scone Palace's very own pirate, a ball pit, face-painting and a chance for children to ‘walk the plank'.
Visitors will also be able to join the pirates on a special quest to locate the famous Scone Palace treasure chest, following their ancient treasure map on the hour at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. In addition the will be a selection of traditional Easter themed workshops taking place throughout the afternoon.
There is a whole host of other Easter-themed activities going on over the Easter weekend. From Friday 14th until Monday 17th, 10am-4pm, visitors to Scone Palace can enjoy Easter egg hunting in the Maze, a bunny and chick hunt in the State Rooms, and the traditional rolling of the egg down Moot Hill.

Scone Palace is offering all visitors throughout 2017 the chance to upgrade their Palace and Grounds Entrance Ticket to a Palace and Grounds Season Ticket at no extra charge so visitors can then enjoy unlimited entry throughout the season, which runs from Saturday 1st April until 31st October 2017.
